Espro Press: How to Make Exceptional French Press Style Coffee
The Espro Press P7 is the next step up from the Espro P5 press. It comes with the same double walled filtration basket and coffee filter attachment, but the entire body is made of durable, stainless steel (doubled walled, not vacuum insulated).
Enhanced with a patent-pending, two-stage microfilter and double-lip seal that prevents coffee grit from sneaking into your coffee, the Espro P7 also preserves those freshly brewed aromas and flavors you get from a French Press.
The innovative double-lip seal stops grit from ambushing your coffee by stopping debris from getting past microfilters, while the filter buffer restrains over-extraction following the brewing process.
Additionally, double - walled, insulated technology maintains a steady temperature while brewing your coffee so you get exceptionally flavored coffee every time.
This makes a huge difference in temperature control and portability. With the stainless steel carafe body, your hot water stays hot for much longer than a glass carafe.
A huge complaint with glass french presses is that even though they look beautiful sitting on the countertop, they don’t hold heat for a long enough amount of time. The Espro P7 easily solves this problem and keeps your freshly brewed coffee hot all morning long.
The stainless steel also makes the P7 far more durable and transportable than the P5 and other glass french press coffee makers. The P5 is pretty, but it breaks easily. Although you can replace the glass carafe, it adds trouble to your coffee routine.
With the stainless steel carafe, you can take your coffee maker anywhere without any worry of it breaking. The perfect gift for any coffee lover.
You can purchase the Espro P7 in a polished, black, or mirror finish. You can also choose from an 18 ounce or 32 ounce press, depending on how many grams of coffee you plan on using in your morning coffee routine.
It's Easy to Brew Coffee Using Your Espro Coffee Maker
All you need to do is follow the same steps you take when making coffee with your French Press. Just preheat the stainless steel container, add your favorite coffee, water and stir.
Wait about 4 (four) minutes before pressing your coffee and serve. Your coffee will stay nice and toasty in the press for hours after brewing while the outside of the container remains cool to the touch.
Even better, the Espro Press strains and filters nearly any alcohol (mint juleps, anyone?) or water-based beverage (cold or hot), which makes this type of coffee press perfect for brewing delicious, loose leaf teas.
Tip: if you plan to brew beverages other than coffee in your double-filtered Espro P7, you might want to use filters for coffee only, filters for tea only and filters for water/alcohol-based drinks only.
This will prevent your coffee from having hints of mint julep or your loose leaf tea from confusing your taste buds.
Cleaning and Maintaining
The stainless steel, dual filtration Espro Coffee Press is dishwasher safe (top rack) or you can hand-wash using a bottle brush.
To ensure you brew grit-free, superior-tasting coffee every time, you should clean this coffee maker at least once a week. Take the coffee double filter completely apart before cleaning to ensure all grit and residue is removed.
Because the Espro Press is a bit harder to press down than the French Press, cleaning it frequently and thoroughly will not only give you the smoothest, richest coffee you've ever tasted but will also make it easier to press.
One more thing - your friends will definitely want an Espro Press after taking one sip of coffee brewed by its dual filtration system.

Everything they say on the Espro website is true! This is the best coffee maker I have had. I have an espresso machine but I like to drink espresso only now and then.
I have had too many "accidents" with my stove top moka pot so I decided to use an older French press and got continuously frustrated with the bitter taste and the thick coffee residue infiltrating my thermos...
I can't believe it but the Espro 7 is producing a perfect coffee: rich, deep, full bodied without any unfiltered "mud".
I have the 18oz pot and I use 28g coffee ( one of the subscription organic low acidic brand) for just a little above the minimum coffee mark.
It is so delicious that i might soon adjust it to the full maximum line !!!
And....It is super easy to clean it !!!
Ah.... and I forgot to mention ...it is absolutely gorgeous !

I only make coffee with a French Press and have used a variety of presses over the years. I’ve used my new Espro P7 fir the last week and am confident in saying, “This French Press is the best on the market”. Try it and see for yourself. Hot, delicious, rich and smooth cup of Java at its best.

Very happy with the new Espro, makes a great cup of coffee and keeps it hot/warm for
much longer than the usual press.

Love my new Espro Press P7 French coffee maker. I purchased the 18oz pot and it makes one large cup, perfect for me in the morning. I have owned a number since I started drinking French Press and this is by far the best! Very little sediment or sludge left in the bottom of my cup and the taste is great. Plus, the FrenchPress Coffee company is great to deal with. Fast, speedy and informative (watch the video they have it helped me in making my purchase!). I highly recommend both! I cannot be happier!
Dear Wendy! Thank you for your feedback. We are appreciate it very much. All the best, FrenchPressCoffee.com
I've had the P7 for roughly 2 weeks, so far I've been happy with my purchase. I purchased the 32 oz and I've only used it once at max fill and every other time has been to the min fill line. My daughter and I are the only coffee drinkers. At min fill it makes about 2 large cups of coffee. I have had no issues with sediment. Taking it apart to clean it has been easy enough. The parts come apart and wash easily. I have only hand washed the pitcher and parts. I am not preheating (pouring in boiling water before brewing) the p7 when making coffee. I have still been able to enjoy it hot and because I'm drinking the coffee within an hour (usually less) I find the coffee is still hot enough for me. I've not had any issues. Nothing to complain of. Its early though and I hope I love it forever and have no issues in the future. Seems pretty sturdy and I've had no issues with any of the parts. I would highly recommend the P7. Makes a great cup of coffee.

I have several French Press coffee makers. The Espro P7 (32 oz.) is one of the best (right up there with my Black Rifle Coffee Company Espro P7 18 oz.). The micro filter systems for both these Espro coffee makers delivers sludge free coffee. And the cleanup is very fast and easy as well. I highly recommend both the 18 oz. and the 32 oz. Espro French Press coffee makers.

Being new to the French Press method I had a few questions about gear and the method.
Igor was exceptional in answering all of my questions about selecting the appropriate French Press brewer. The Espro P7 is well designed, easy to use and helps to produce a fine cup of coffee.
Dear Steve! Thank you for your feedback. We are appreciate it very much. All the best, FrenchPressCoffee.com
The P7 is an excellent French Press coffee maker. It’s easy to use and keeps your coffee hot. I prefer using Illy Classico medium roast at a medium grind. As I’m not a purist, I usually add a tiny amount of coarse sugar and light cream; on occasion, I might use liquid coffee mate — the original. I also have an 18 oz ESPRO— a slightly smaller version of the P7. To note, the coffee candy included in my order was delicious.
Dear Michael! Thank you for your feedback. We are appreciate it very much. All the best, FrenchPressCoffee.com
I've been using the full sized Espro P5 for a few years and have really enjoyed the super clean zero grit cup of coffee that it makes. This smaller sized P7 that I just got doesn't seem to produce as clean of a cup. Definitely 10-fold better than a traditional french press, but nowhere near as good as the P5. Not sure if just having a smaller filter basket is the reason, but you definitely get a "murky" looking coffee with the notorious pool of sludge at the bottom of the cup. Nonetheless, I'll continue to use both of the presses for years to come.
