Espresso Strata, Organic, Medium-Dark Roast, Whole Bean Coffee, Red Rock Roasters, 12 oz
New Mexico's Red Rock Roasters have hit a home run with their Espresso Strata espresso blend of organic coffee beans. Whether you want a shot of straight espresso or a frothy coffee drink, Espresso Strata has the powerful flavors and aromas that you want in a gourmet coffee blend.
When you are creating milky, foamy coffee beverages, you need a coffee with bold, powerful flavors that won't be watered down by the syrup or cream in a latte or cappuccino. The Espresso Strata was designed as Red Rock Roasters' "Seattle style" espresso blend, and it stands up well in tall, milky coffee beverage creations.
On its own, Espresso Strata has rich, full flavor, with undertones of dark chocolate, tangy cedar aromas, and a citrusy zing. To top it off, Espresso Strata is an organic coffee blend, so you can enjoy your coffee, knowing that it was created in an environmentally friendly manner.
ABOUT Red Rock Roasters
Red Rock Roasters is a small, family owned coffee roasting business located in New Mexico. They specialize in small batch gourmet coffee roasting, and because they are located at over 5,000 feet altitude, they're able to roast the beans at low temperatures for longer periods of time, resulting in a smooth-bodied finished product that doesn't have a hint of the burnt taste frequently associated small batch roasters.
I thought these beans were great. I use the Columbia Roast in my french press and it brought out great flavor. I am no expert on coffee so I can't give you any specifics, but they do make for an enjoyable cup of coffee. I also bought the Espresso Strata that I use in my espresso machine (yes I have a horrible caffeine addiction) and it is by far my favorite bean to make espresso so far. I would definitely recommend giving these both a go.
