    The 18 oz. French Press is a lovely piece of gear. Along with the high end hand grinder I also purchased - excellent coffee.
    My only question : there is always about 4 oz. of liquid still in the press after I’ve finished. Simply will not pour out without removing the screens. Perhaps a deliberate design innovation?

    Replacement Coffee Filter

    It works better than the original. It filters just as well, but takes less force when pressing. I also like the twist-lock feature on the replacement filter.

    Filter's need to be replaced every couple of years

    I love my French press but the only thing I don't like is that the filters need to be replaced every couple of years. This is the 2nd time that I've had to in the past 3 years. I wished that it lasted longer though.
