An alternative...

So here's the alternative approach, and this is especially important if you don't have a Frieling. You can take the stem part down to a nearby Lowe's or Home Depot and they will help you to find a nut which will do the same thing just fine. I don't have a Frieling and was desperately looking for a piece and could come up with nothing. I went this morning and got a package of two nuts for the sum of $0.64 cents. Happy now? I am.
