I don’t know the long term effects of using this but extremely effective in dissolving coffee grit and sticky build up. My Espro filter meshes had almost completely gunked up and they came out almost like new after 30min. I might have to do a second pass to get the remaining stuff out. I even used it on a pair of kitchen scissors :)

Espro Press - Monthly Deep Cleaning
Simply mix one tablespoon of Deep Clean with 500mL of warm water (about 80 C) and stir until it's dissolved.
